The Blues‘N’Brews Homebrew
Contest will be held on
August 18, 2007. Awards
will be awarded in
conjunction with the 2007
Blues 'n' Brews Festival on
August 25, 2007 at
Nashoba Valley Ski Area in
Westford,
MA. This homebrew
competition is
AHA
and
BJCP
sanctioned. For more

BJCP judges and FOAM members
will be available at the
Blues’N’Brews Festival to
talk to those interested in
homebrewing and/or judging
homebrews. Just look for the
FOAM tent.

Eligibility:
Any person who can legally
brew may enter. Entries must
be homemade. Beverages made
at commercial locales,
including brew-on-premise
establishments, are not
eligible. |
|
Entry Fee:
$5.00 per entry. Please make
checks payable to Peter
Girourard.
|
|
Entry Requirements:
Include three 12 oz. glass
bottles per entry. If less
than three bottles are
submitted, the entry might
not be considered for Best
of Show.
Prizes:
Best of Show Simon Pierce
Hand-blown Glass Mug
and
AHA Ribbons.
There is also swag for
judges and/or entry into the
Blues’N’Brews festival.

Ensure that all entries conform to the following:
• Each bottle must contain a
minimum of 10 ounces
• Each bottle must be free of labels or other
distinguishing marks
• Caps must be plain or
blacked out
• Attach a bottle
Identification Form,
using a rubber band, to each
bottle.
• Complete an
Entry Form
(one per brewer, NOT one per
entry) for all entries. Only
one entry per BJCP
style subcategory
will be accepted for
judging.
• Accompany the entry form
with the entry fee based on
the number of entries.
• Include a stamped,
self-addressed envelope if
you desire judge feedback.
• Deliver entries by
Saturday, August 11, 2007
except as noted below.
