This is a classic example of the saison
style made in a farmhouse brewery in the
Hainault province of Belgium. Traditionally
brewed in the spring for the summer season,
this Saision has a unique Belgian
fruitiness and pungent sourness that is
accented with aroma hops. The fruity and
sweet aroma is followed by a complex fruity
sharp flavor and a lingering dry finish and
aftertaste.
This
recipe won 2nd place in the first FOAM Beer
of the Month Competition*.
